“Mira’s LifeBalance Expo”,  Sunday 18 October 2009, from 9 till 3

Venue: The Purple Door Natural Health Centre, Normanby Square, Bundaberg

The date is set and the planning has started for  Mira’s LifeBalance Expo 2009! Since my mission statement is: “To inspire people to live a healthier life and contribute to society whilst doing so”, I thought organising a LifeBalance Expo would be a great idea. May 2008 I organised my first LifeBalance Expo, at the Botanical Gardens. I just wanted to bring like-minded people and businesses together, all covering one of the 5 pillars of health: Body, Mind, Family, Society and Finances. We had many stalls and guestspeakers, beautiful wheather and a good numbef of people who showed up. It was small, but a success. Later in the year I helped the Flower of Life Centre organise their Bargara Festival of Health and WellBeing, it was a huge success! And we raised funds for Youngcare too. “While we take care of our own health and are able to enjoy a day like this, and learn how we can improve our overall health and wellbeing, I think it’s very important that we also think about the less fortunate in society like the residents of Youngcare and all the other young people in Australia who need high care and live amongst old people in aged care facilities. Youngcare is the good cause we support today.” That’s what I said in September and that’s we will do again at the Expo, raise funds for Youngcare.

There will be stalls, guestspeakers, workshops and more, all related to the 5 pillars of health. A stall is 25 dollars and you need to bring your own gazebo. Entry: a golden coin donation.
